Cats’ Eye View

<< Back

October 1, 2010

KobeHi all! It’s Kobe here. I just have to take a moment to tell you how happy I am that Joaquin, the cat I told you about a few weeks ago, finally got adopted!!  He waited almost six months before his big day came last weekend!! Woo hoo!!! We all will miss him around here, but getting animals into good homes is what it’s all about. And every healthy, friendly animal does stay here until that happens.

The other thing I wanted to remind you about is Fur Ball, which is Nov. 6, only five weeks from tomorrow! The reason I’m reminding you about it today is that you have only two more weeks to buy tickets for this gala, which benefits our Second Chance Program. Help Our FriendsThe Second Chance Program, funded entirely by donations, allows the nice people at the Cleveland APL to take in and treat thousands of sick, injured, and special-needs animals that need a little extra help.

Everyone has such a good time at Fur Ball. There are all kinds of fantastic items to bid on in our silent and live auctions. There is music, lots of fun people to mingle with and plenty of delicious food (by human standards anyway. I prefer canned food and the occasional bite of kibble.)  Also, you will see a video about the APL and the Second Chance Program and will get to meet this year’s Very Important Pooch.

OzzyClick here to buy your tickets and to learn more about having a great time for a great cause.

Love and purrs,
Kobe and Ozzy
