HI ALL!!! It’s Ozzy and I’m back to tell you a super fun thing the APL is doing!  Kobe and I have made it to *star* status since we started this blog.  I know everyone just has to admire our lovely photos each week!

But enough about us!  It’s your turn to make your furry friend a *STAR*!  Your pet can be a featured month on the APL’s 2011 Pet Calendar!  The contest has already begun and will end July 16, 2010.  So get your cameras out and start snapping away!

Here’s everything you’ll need to know: (I know I know it sounds so boring and technical but we need to make sure these things are followed so we get the BEST calendar ever!)

There is an entry fee is $25.00 per picture and your pet's picture is guaranteed to be included on the pages of the Cleveland APL's 2011 calendar. Your entry fee also includes a copy ofour full-color calendar, which will be mailed to you in November 2010.  The entry fee goes to help all of the animals here at the APL!

Photos must be of pets only - no people, please!  Please know your pets love you very much but they want their time to shine!

You can enter online by clicking here or by mailing a 4x6 horizontally-formatted photograph and registration form to our regular mailing address ATTN: 2011 Calendar Contest, 1729 Willey Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44113.  Digital photos are preferred. We cannot accept cell phone, Polaroid or copyrighted professional photographs, and we cannot return photographs.
 
Please do not stamp or write on the back of the photo. For digital photos, please provide sharp images (highest resolution) that are 300 dpi at a 5x7 format or larger and in JPEG (JPG) or TIFF format. Please name the digital files by the pet’s first and last name, i.e. “FidoJones.jpg."   Trust me; it’s easy… just turn your camera to the highest resolution setting.

All entries will be blind judged by the Cleveland Animal Protective League and the top 12 will be featured as "Pets of the Month."

DON’T FOREGET!!!!! All entries must be postmarked by Friday, July 16, 2010, and will be included in the 2011 calendar.

So pull your cameras out and showcase your best friend! This is such a great way to help the APL and feature your pet at the same time!! Kobe and I can’t wait to see the calendar!!!!
