Cleveland APL Celebrates Mayday for Mutts and Cinco de Meow!

<< Back

Help the animals of the Cleveland Animal Protective League celebrate the beginning of a long-awaited Spring by stopping by to adopt a pet during Mayday for Mutts or Cinco de Meow!

Between May 1st and 3rd, the APL is honoring its fantastic mixed-breed pooches with a Mayday for Mutts adoption promotion, during which the adoption fee for all adult dogs (5 months to 6 years) will be reduced to $50 and the adoption fee for puppies (under 5 months) will be reduced to $100.  All dogs adopted will go home with “papers” certifying them as 100% mixed-breed mutts.  There could be Shep-skys, Rott-labs, and Coll-herds among the wonderful selection of mixed breeds!

Then, between May 4th and 7th, the APL will celebrate its cats during a Cinco de Meow adoption promotion.  During this time, adoption fees for kittens (under 5 months) will be reduced to $55, and the adoption fees for adult cats (5 months to 6 years) will be reduced to $30.  Cat adopters will also go home with “Burrito Bucks” from Chipotle—while supplies last!

Also between Friday May 1st and Thursday May 7th:

  • All adopters will receive a free bag of Hill’s Science Diet food (4 pounds for cats, 5 pounds for dogs)
  • Microchips will be available for animals adopted during this time for only $10.
  • All adopters will receive a free 2009 Cleveland APL Pet Calendar

All animals adopted from the APL have been spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm or FeLV/FIV, received age-appropriate vaccinations and treatment of worms and fleas, and come with a collar and APL ID Tag, helpful species-specific animal care information, and a free initial veterinary exam.  Cats and kittens come with a travel box, and dogs and puppies go home with a leash.  All adoptable animals can be seen at www.ClevelandAPL.org.
