Ben's Story - Long Term Doesn't Mean Any Less Love!

Ben's story

Hello - I just wanted to send a picture of Ben whom I adopted back in August or September - I can't even remember the actual month because time has flown by so fast and Ben keeps us really busy. I know he was an owner surrender and belonged to an older lady who had to turn him over to the APL and he had been there since June. I initially had decided that I was going to foster dogs because I wanted to help out but that definitely changed when I tried to foster Ben.

There was no way I could just foster this guy. I had gotten too attached to him and he was definitely a keeper for me!

I brought my golden retriever in to meet Ben and they did not get along really well at first but they have definitely grown on each other and look out for one another. Ben is a sweetheart and absolutely loves his ball and would do anything for it. He is so smart and loves his new home. It was absolutely the best thing I have done and now am suggesting to friends and family to do it as well!   Thanks!    -- Diana
