June 25, 2010

Hi all!  It’s Kobe here!  Ozzy is NAPPING…yet again! Since we have been talking a lot about our feline friends the past few weeks, I thought I’d share our blog with the dogs this week!  If you have a dog or you plan on adopting a dog in the near future, check out these fun events where you can bring your dog along!

Our friends at the Lake County Captains are hosting two events that benefit the Cleveland APL as well as our friends at Lake Humane Society!  This Saturday, June 26th, Captains Charities (the official charity of the Lake County Captains) is hosting its first annual Dog Walk beginning at 9 am.  You can walk around Classic Park and through the city of Eastlake.  The course is one mile long.  But make sure you don’t sleep in like Ozzy usually does on Saturday, because registration starts at 8 am!

Help Our FriendsAnd the Captains support doesn’t stop there!  You can bring your dog to a Captains game…they like to call it Bark in the Park!   There are two Bark in the Park games this year:  Monday, July 26, and Tuesday, August 31, at 7 pm.  Passes for your pooch are only $5.00 and they benefit the APL and Lake Humane Society!  It sounds like it’s going to be a super fun night…too bad I won’t be able to attend.  Check out more information here!

Thanks to the Lake County Captains and everyone that plans on attending these events!  We cannot thank you enough for your continued support!

Until next week…

Love and purrs,
Kobe and Ozzy
