Chester Cooper is a 7-month-old male cat who came into the APL with a wound on his leg that was very infected. The APL’s veterinary team cleaned and treated the wound with antibiotics, but it would not heal. Chester Cooper was sent for X-rays, which revealed a rubber band embedded around his leg. The kitten’s skin had started to grow around the rubber band, causing the infection. Once the rubber band was removed, Chester Cooper recovered in the loving home of an APL Foster Care Volunteer. He is now on our adoption floor ready to find his new family!
